Serving typical Mexican cuisine in a stylish, brasserie-inspired setting, this spot perfectly balances tradition and modern flair. The service is impressively fast, yet remains polished and attentive—truly professional. A well-established institution in the area, and for all the right reasons. A must-visit when in Merida.

Try to make a reservation if possible, as the wait can be long, but it's definitely worth it. For appetizers, we ordered the dry noodles with shrimp. The dish was excellent—the noodles were cooked to perfection, and the shrimp elevated the meal to a whole new level. For the main course, we had the ossobuco and grilled shrimp. The rice in the ossobuco tied the dish together beautifully, offering a perfect balance of black garlic and creaminess. The meat was incredibly tender and easily fell off the bone. The grilled shrimp had just the right amount of acidity. Overall, it was an outstanding experience.

This place is sheer perfection, it was the first restaurant we tried in Merida and we're going back. Paula and the team have created a fantastic atmosphere along with delicious and beautiful food. It's not easy to create a balance of stellar dishes while still maintaining a welcoming and playful vibe, all the servers were fantastic. We had the duck tacos and the tuna tacos, Poema Oaxacena cocktails and guacamole you dream of. The design aesthetic of the place is remarkable, from the beautiful light fixtures to the surprise and delight of the treats and words of wisdom at the end of the meal. We can't wait to go back this week! Also if you're celiac, they have everything identified clearly on the menu and communicated purposefully what I could and couldn't eat when bringing anything to the table.

We had a delicious dinner in a fabulous neighbourhood with attentive service. This place was a great vibe, with a circa 1950s-60s feel to it. The classic decor and black white films displayed around the bar gave it a unique touch. Now to the food - we had the bone marrow, the grilled octopus, duck tacos and tangy ceviche. All of which were mouth watering scrumptious. I highly recommend if you are in Merida. The restaurant stayed open quite late and there were still arrivals for drinks around 11pm when we were paying our bill.
